The Club’s key asset is its cricket ground – a venue for domestic and international matches – which also serves as a hockey and soccer pitch.

The KCC has a strong all-round sporting identity. Its top-notch facilities include a swimming pool complex (with its own catering facilities), tennis courts (all-weather and grass in summer), squash courts and lawn bowls greens. Hockey and soccer are also played, while those who enjoy indoor sports can take their pick from tenpin bowling, snooker and darts. But there is more to the Club than sport alone.

Thanks to the ever-growing, multi-racial, multi-cultural membership, the KCC is deservedly known as the most “open” and welcoming club in town.

It also has a strong family atmosphere, with children’s facilities ranging from a paddling pool to a specially designed playground. Children also have access to expert coaching in swimming, soccer, tennis, hockey, cricket and judo.

Other attractions include a video club and a variety of evening activities such as bridge. Professional entertainers – world famous musicians and comedians – also perform at the KCC on a regular basis.

The Club’s commitment to giving its members the very best has seen it continually adapting and upgrading its facilities over the years.

Key facilities like the carpark and clubhouse are regularly upgraded. The fitness centre, aerobics room and sports shop are popular additions, and cable television has proved a firm favourite for KCC’s armchair sportsmen.

The privileges that come with membership of KCC also extend far beyond Hong Kong. The Club shares reciprocal rights with sporting and social clubs worldwide, so when you travel, your KCC membership affords you access to home comforts away from home.

Wining, Dining and Entertaining

When it comes to the finer things in life, the KCC offers an unbeatable array of options for wining, dining and entertaining.

Fancy something to eat? Then you may find yourself spoilt for choice. Options range from bar snacks to a summer barbecue by the pool to haute cuisine in the refined the Grill Room. The Boundary Cafe, with its panoramic view across the Club’s grounds, offers tasty snacks and a wide range of Asian and Continental cuisine. It is also host of the highly popular Sunday family buffet.

There are various bars dotted about the club the most popular of these being the Main Bar and Lounge – to some the heart of the KCC. Every night, but especially at weekends, the Bar makes for an ideal place in which to relive the day’s sporting achievements or simply unwind.

If you need to do some entertaining, you might like to treat a guest to a day outdoors in the fresh air or perhaps a sophisticated evening’s wining and dining. The Pavilion and Fincher Rooms make a fine venue for larger gatherings such as cocktail parties or private functions where Chinese cuisine is also available. Organizations and associations around Hong Kong regularly patronize the Club’s meeting rooms.

You can even count on the KCC to help you enjoy a day or night at the races. The Club has boxes at both Happy Valley and Shatin racecourses. A trip to the KCC box at the races comes complete with catering and service.
