More than 100 years of cricketing experience in Hong Kong
Cricket has been a part of Kowloon Cricket Club since its inception in 1904 and today, the club boasts arguably the best ground and facilities for cricket in Hong Kong. Surrounded by the bustling sky-rises of Jordan and once voted into a poll of the world’s most picturesque cricket grounds, KCC is the home to the Hong Kong International Cricket Sixes tournament. KCC regularly hosts international cricket matches and visiting squads from overseas.
The club currently enters five senior teams into the domestic competitions, three aligned to the Saturday championship and two to the stronger Sunday championship. Additionally, the club runs an expansive junior programme which provides cricket to hundreds of children of varying age and ability, every seasonal week. KCC enters multiple squads into all domestic junior competitions, the age brackets stretching from under 11 cricket up to under 17 cricket. The KCC Maiden’s also compete in the domestic women’s competition.
Through the season, which runs from September through until early May, senior men’s practise is held every Tuesday and Thursday eve
KCC hosts junior coaching programs throughout the year. These are suitable for boys and girls from the age of 4 years and over.
